A question we receive monthly is “how do I receive my deposit refund”. The first thing you need to do is schedule a vacate notice before the 15th day of the month you intend to vacate. This is clearly stated in your contract and without a notice in the appropriate time frame, you will not qualify for a deposit refund. You have until the last day of the month to vacate your unit. When you are ready to vacate however you will need to ensure that all items and trash are removed from the unit. The unit must be swept clean- no dirt, rocks, cobwebs, etc. When the unit is empty and clean and you are officially through with the unit, remove your personal lock. If you are renting an indoor unit, a manager will notice the empty lock latch and check your unit to make sure it is indeed empty and clean. However, it never hurts to call our office, 801-377-5900, and let the manager know you are in fact through with you unit. If you are in an outdoor unit, please call our office to let us know you are officially through with your unit. Because tenants are always pulling items in and out of their units throughout the month we want to be one hundred percent certain you are vacated
