Wayne model 615 Visible gas pump

This restored Wayne model 615 Visible gas pump is from the 1920s. It has a 10-gal glass cylinder for the customer to be able to see what the gas looks like before dispensing it in to their vehicle. Gas was frequently dirty in the olden days and plugged up carburetors, so people wanted to see before dispensing. This style of pump requires someone to pump the hand lever to get the fuel up from the underground tank in to the visible cylinder, so it can be seen and then after approval they dispense the portion they want in to their vehicle. There are gallon marks inside the glass cylinder to tell how much you dispense. The Musco Brand was an Eastern/Midwestern popular Brand of fuel when this pump was used. The pump has a current value of about $3000-$4000 and is not for sale.
